Before Dermaroller Therapy

After Dermaroller Therapy

Dermaroller Therapy is a new non-surgical skin regeneration procedure to help repair and restore the skin's surface. The procedure uses tiny micro-medical needles to treat skin damage from ageing, exposure to the sun, pigmentation, acne scars and stretch marks. It is particularly effective against fine lines and wrinkles.
How does it work?
The device is passed over the skin allowing its many tiny micro-medical needles
to penetrate the skin. This encourages the skin's natural repair process.
As the skin regenerates, new collagen and skin cells are formed and blood
supply is enhanced.
Does it hurt?
Prior to treatment, a topical anaesthetic will be applied to help numb the
skin. This will make the procedure more comfortable.
Are the results immediate?
During the first few weeks, the skin will look generally brighter and more
vibrant. Within 6 to 12 weeks, you will notice reduced pigmentation and a
tightening of the skin. Overall results will improve over a few months.
How long does a session take?
The treatment takes approximately one hour from start to finish. A course
of 3-4 is usually needed for optimum results at 6 week intervals.
How long will it take to recover?
Recovery is quick with minimum downtime and you can return to normal activities
shortly after treatment.
Is any after care necessary?
Post recovery cream, to be used for 48 hours and high factor sun screen will
be issued to you to protect the skin and maintain the results.
