Our diet consists of acid-forming and alkaline-forming foods and if we want
to stay healthy it is important to maintain the neutral pH-balance that our
body enjoys.
Unfortunately, our diet is such that we consume far too much meat, fat and
sugar (acid-forming) and not enough vegetables and fruit (alkaline-forming)
